Different perspectives.Shared responsibility.

The professional cohort is intended for vetted members who actively contribute, make themselves available to help, and represent OPAQUE with care.

Beginning in Oslo. Open to different disciplines, generations and experiences.

WHAT YOU BRING.
WHAT IT MAKES POSSIBLE.

The role is expressed through participation.
Three ways to put perspective into practice.

01CONTRIBUTEMake knowledge useful.

Bring experience, questions and practical help to something the community wants to understand or make.

For example: help people explore a question about technology, creativity or the natural world. These are possible contributions, not an announced programme.

02BE AVAILABLEMake room to help.

Create time to listen, share what you know and help someone else find a way forward. Quiet, thoughtful participation matters too.

For example: offer a conversation, a useful resource or practical feedback. How availability is communicated is still being developed.

03REPRESENTCarry the intention with care.

Represent OPAQUE through the way you participate: stay curious, respect people and allow constructive disagreement about ideas.

For example: help a conversation include different perspectives while maintaining clear boundaries around harassment and dehumanization.

  1. 01

    Listen before assuming.

Understanding starts with attention. Nobody is required to share more than they want to.

  2. 02

    Bring a useful contribution.

Professional representation is an active relationship: time, knowledge and a willingness to help.

  3. 03

    Be clear about the role.

Vetting criteria, practical responsibilities and the approach to ongoing participation are still taking shape.

Community participation, donations and merchandise do not confer professional cohort status.

SIX LETTERS.
AN OPEN MIND.

OPAQUE begins with an intention to stay open, keep asking and try to understand.
